About Your Farrier
Neil was raised on a farm in Indiana and grew up handling horses daily. He currently owns and rides his personal horse, Taylor, that he raised and trained himself as a teenager. As a boy, Neil watched farriers come to his home and work on his family's horses. He became increasingly intrigued by the trade and eventually set out to learn and start his own business. Neil has been running his own practice for over 12 years. He has his Level 2 certification through the Equine Lameness Prevention Organization (ELPO) and offers hot and cold steel shoes, as well as a variety of corrective, nail, or glue on shoes. He works closely with veterinarians to help his clients best serve their horses and has helped correct many horses' issues. Neil regularly attends horse shoeing conferences to further his knowledge and skill base. He is a dedicated farrier, committed to providing exceptional hoofcare. Neil is married and has 3 kids. He enjoys skiing, hunting, hiking, and being at home with his family.

How do I request a service?
To request a service, simply fill out the online form with your contact information and details about your horses' hoofcare needs. Once we receive your request, we will get in touch to schedule a convenient time for the service. You can also text or call 267-916-0285.
What are your service areas?
Neil provides farrier services in Montgomery, Bucks, Berks, & Chester Counties. Not located in these counties? There is a possibility Neil will still be available to travel to you. If you are unsure whether he covers your location, feel free to reach out for more information.
Do you offer emergency services?
Neil offers emergency services on a case by case basis. He is not always available for last minute calls, but wants to help you and your horse whenever he can.
What types of shoeing do you offer?
Neil offers a variety of steel hot and cold shoes, corrective glue or nail on shoes, as well as basic trims. He shoes horses in any discipline (eg. dressage, roping/reining, hunter/jumper, trail riding, etc.)
